Personal Training at Excel
We address a broad spectrum of training
at Excel. Whether you are a couch potato, a weekend warrior or
an experienced competitor, we have a program for you. Some
highlights of our
training programs are outlined below.
Your first visit to Excel Sports consists of a class focusing on
all aspects of health and fitness. Strength training,
cardiovascular conditioning and nutrition - which comprises 70%
of the changes in your physique.
1 mile (race or time trial)
5K (3.1 Mile) Racing
10K (6.2 Mile) Racing
15K (9.3 Mile) Racing
Half and Full Marathon Training Programs
Track - 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m
Speed or sprint training
Strength training designed to maximize performance
Swim, Bike, Run - combing elements of all of the above training
Sports Massage/Tension and
There are a variety of therapeutic massage therapy techniques
which are employed at Excel Sports. Deep tissue massage,
neuromuscular, Swedish massage, and other injury-related
techniques are available. In addition, flexibility through
proper stretching (i.e. Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitator
or P.N.F. stretching)
Hair Mineral Analysis
Your hair contains all of the minerals present in your body.
In most cases it also reflects how much of these elements are in
your tissues. Results from hair mineral analysis provide a
